|Amy Garner Gadke, RYT, Reiki Practitioner First and Second Degree
Amy has always enjoyed participating in sports and athletics and believes in the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and taking care of one’s body through movement and exercise. She began her yoga practice while living in San Diego and was quickly drawn to the mental benefits and mind-body-spirit connection a regular practice afforded. On the mat, Amy found a place to be present and mindful. She also enjoys the aspect of yoga being a practice where there is always a new place to explore and move toward, both on the mat and in our daily lives.
Amy completed her 220 hour yoga certification at the KYS Trainings/kRtajJatA Yoga School at Gratitude Hot Yoga Center. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Wake Forest University. Amy is tremendously grateful to her primary yoga teachers, Andrea Sewitsky and Jackie Mastro.
