Seeking ways to strengthen and support her body to continue her active physical lifestyle, following surgery, Blair sought an alternative approach to stay active and healthy, at Franklin Street Yoga. While completing her clinical rotations for East Carolina University’s Physician Assistant program, yoga provided the perfect solution.
She regularly practiced both heated and non-heated vinyasa daily as a way to improve her chronic knee pain, and provide the mental release needed from a stressful clinical practice. Beginning to appreciate not only the physical, but also the mental benefits of yoga, she followed the path to complete her 200hr teaching certification as an instructor. Recently, she has appreciated the positive effects of yoga during pregnancy and parturition and she is thrilled to be currently enrolled in Prenatal Yoga Teacher training.
Blair Cuneo is grateful for the path her practice provided, as she continues to seek mind-body balance. She is grateful to this amazing yoga community, which provides the love and support to help her light shine bright. She looks forward to seeing you on the mat. “Follow your bliss.”
Blair has a degree from UNC-CH, B.S. in Radiologic Science, 2003, and ECU, M.S in Physician Assistant Studies, 2008.
