Julie Bendtsen, RYT-200, Reiki First and Second degree.
Julie found yoga almost by coincidence – one that would turn out to be life-altering for her! Having moved to the United States from Denmark with her husband and two young children and finding herself in a completely new role as a stay-at-home-mom, Julie was searching for a place to find some me-time as well as new experiences. She found exactly that and so much more at Gratitude Hot Yoga. Through her practice Julie not only almost instantly felt the physical changes and benefits, she also discovered that yoga was a loving and moving path to deepened awareness, a calmer and more open mind, endless new perspectives and a whole new level of acceptance and appreciation – for others as well as for herself.
Julie has a MA in English and rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen and a background in journalism. She completed her 220 hour certification at the kRtajJatA school at Gratitude Hot Yoga Center in Raleigh.
